SAVE OJB JAZREEL by KELLY HANSOME

Earlier this month, stories circulated in the media about the health status of one of Nigeria’s renowned music producer, song writer and singer, OJB Jezreel. According to the reports, OJB had problems with his kidney.
The stories have now been confirmed to this writer on the morning of June 21, 2013, by a colleague who is also a close friend of OJB. Information reaching us is that the man who was responsible for a number of Nigerian hit songs, and has worked with both the high and mighty, and the upcoming acts within the music industry, has been diagnosed with having kidney failure and urgently requires a transplant procedure worth $100,000. The good news is a donor has been found and all that’s left is this sum of money that friends, family, colleagues and well-wishers need to make available to save one of our own.
Presently, OJB receives dialysis twice a week pending when this fund is ready for, hopefully, the only procedure. While we all soberly pass this message across, we should also endeavor to get actively and genuinely involved to reach a timely and effective end to this terminal illness.

Let’s help a friend and brother in need…Then, we’d have done our respective bit indeed.

Kelly Hansome went into the studio couple of hours ago to write and record this SOS song “Save OJB” which is a call for support from all, not only from people in the Entertainment Industry. Kelly Hansome shall make an unannounced donation to OJB this week and may be flying into Nigeria for the ‘Save OJB’ Concert in Abuja.
This musical effort is co-sponsored by the The Omenwanne Foundation, A. Allen Foundation – www.audreyallenfoundation.com
