Goodnews Oliver a.k.a Flaarkidd yg started his music career as a young teen in the local church choir, where his entertainment abilities was fast discovered. I grew up loving the rap culture, secretly i would copy out rhymes and tried making lines with them, not until i met the duo of elicit and x-rex in 2004, who inspired me to come out of the box, cos they believed in what i had and later on in 2005 i went ahead to record my first rap song in the studio...'in my hood' ft skinny..Shitt came out a bang, later on i became part of the clique Netbricks (Elicit, E-rex, Yg)..Yg left the shores of nigeria 2 spain 2 further his education, and somewhere in 2009 i met dj Untee (malaga spain) who inspired me to writing the nigerian kinda dancehall songs..its been fun since then i must say, the music game is like life; the more you live the more you learn. I grew up in the slums of lagos,where we had freestyle battles with rival cliques in public school buildings, with the whole hood watchin and judgin...cos right there in okokomaiko, the effect of hiphop is as strong as alchohol, so you gotta b tyt 2 gain respekt in da hood...im currently working on my 1st album, WE DEFINE 9JA (BLAQBONEZ RECORDS)...its like the experiences of anoda lasgidi born on beats..lol
